Promotions & Relegations
Now that the season is nearly over I just wanted to confirm the Promotion & Relegation situation. Generally there are two up and two down from each division but this is dependant on what happens in the Premier Division with movement to and from the East. This season there is likely to be a one for one swap so the two up two down in the rest of the divisions will apply. Bishops Stortford 4 in Div 3 and Enigma in Div 4 unfortunately had to concede more than two games during the course of the season so all their results have been wiped and they have automatic demotion to the division below. I hope they'll be able to carry on next year. Three will be promoted from Div 6 to make up the gap left by St Neots 3 who withdrew at the start of the season.
There are still a couple of critical fixtures to be played next Saturday so the final picture will be known then.
Regards
Sue Owen
